Description of service

Description

Many countries are exempted from the visa requirement when travelling to the Dominican Republic. In other cases, there is a tourist card valid for short stays (up to 30 days), that can only be used once.

Tourists who want to extend this 30-day period must pay a fee – the amount of which varies depending on the extension of the period – to the Dirección General de Migración or at the immigration office when leaving the country.
